It is official. We have the worlds most unconfortable sofa! Part of the reason is that it is a two-seater, so it really doesn' t fit the three of us (yes, we have to include Bobs - the dog - in our seating arrangement!).
The other reason is that the arm rests are to high, so you become sort of boxed into the thing and it is awful!
This why I am liking the design of these two sofas: for one of them, very low arm rests so you loose that claustrophobic feeling and for the other a concept that embraces the high-arm-rests-thing but has been given a shape that allows you to coccoon into the corner and take advantage of it ... well done Russell and Donna ;)

And this is good in my opinion for two reasons: (1) If you have a two seater it probably means you don' t have space for a bigger sofa (who would want a two-seater otherwise!), by being raised from the floor it visually takes up less space. (2) Again, Bobby... because our sweet Spaniel sheds so much hair I have to sweep & mop twice as many times as your average person, so a raised sofa means: No Moving Furniture Around For Maintainance Cleaning! ;)
