I love how these Ray Eames drawings show the thought process behind the creation of a pattern. The grid slowly disappears to give way to the final layout!

Also a while back another friend, Bettina (bettaway and dogue) sent me the link for Bonito that under the slogan "Art Direction, Visual Expresions and Beautiful things" have recently opened a store in Palma de Mallorca!

The effect of this type of print is great
Single threads are dyed and then woven to create the pattern!

It caught my eye earlier today while browsing British Vogue ... and then later at Lake Jane!

My kind of art! ... totally love it!
